Hello!

I am a postdoctoral scholar at Pennsylvania State University, working with Profs. Katriona Shea (PSU) and Angus Buckling (University of Exeter, Penryn).

I am fascinated by how biodiversity is formed and maintained. Specifically, I build mathematical and statistical models to understand how population processes percolate through temporal, spatial, and organizational scales. For example, I've studied:
  • Methods for inferring gut microbial population dynamics from Drosophila fecal samples
  • Monarch butterfly population dynamics over their spectacular annual migration
  • How new species are formed when individuals are strategically choosy with whom they mate
Please see my Research page for more details, and feel free to contact me via email.
